When it comes to outstanding looking photos, it takes a partnership between photographer, client, and stylists. Whether you are your own stylist or decide to splurge on hair and makeup for the big shoot please know that it is the hair, makeup, and clothing choices that turn a technically great photo into one that looks like it belongs on a magazine cover.
We highly recommend having your hair and makeup professionally done prior to the shoot but this is in no way mandatory.
We always recommend bringing a variety of clothes and accessories to the shoot. This allows for flexibility and inspiration as the shoot progresses. A good rule of thumb is to bring at least one classic outfit, one extremely trendy outfit, and something that you ADORE.
When you schedule your shoot we will send you a link to our style guide to give you more ideas and at the planning meeting you will speak to Sam in more detail about styling.
